 Masayori "Masi" Oka nasce il 27 Dicembre 1974 a Tokio, in Giappone, fino all'età di sei anni a causa del trasferimento a Los Angeles.
Masi Oka presenta un Q.I. pari a 160 e nel tempo libero si dedica alle più svariate attività come suonare il piano, scrivere commedie, cantare e praticare kendo. Insomma un genio da molti punti di vista ma soprattutto nel campo degli effetti speciali.
Infatti, in seguito alla laurea in Scienze Matematiche e Informatiche nel 1977, viene assunto alla "George Lucas' Industrial Light & Magic" come programmatore ed è grazie a lui che si sono avuti i famosi effetti speciali di film importanti come "Star Wars", "Hulk" e "Pirati dei Caraibi".
Masayori ha ottenuto anche una nomina per il Golden Globe di miglior attore. E' apparso in "Dharma & Greg", "Una Mamma per Amica", "Scrubs", "Sabrina, vita da strega", "Senza Traccia".
Oltre ad attore, come scritto in precedenza, lavora come programmatore ed è uno delle persone più accreditate nel suo campo in seguito agli sconvolgenti effetti speciali del famoso pacchetto cinematografico quale è "Star Wars". Actor:
