Milo Ventimiglia nasce l'8 Luglio 1977 ad Anaheim e, come si può capire dal cognome, il padre era italiano, per l'esattezza siciliano. Fin da piccolo iniziò a nutrire la passione per la recitazione.
Ha partecipato inzialmente a serie tv come "Willy il Principe di Bel Air" e "Sabrina-Vita da Strega". Nel 2000 riesce a farsi notare grazie al telefilm (non andato in onda in Italia) di "Opposite Sex" di una sola serie. Nonostante la breve durata del telefilm Milo riesce a far parlare di lui grazie allo strano ruolo da lui interpretato.
In seguito partecipa ad ulteriori telefilm come "C.S.I." e "Una Mamma Per Amica" dove riesce a conquistare una grande fetta di pubblico. In seguito alla grande norietà ha firmato contratti con i produttori di Boston Public e Law&Order:Special Victim Unit.
Una delle altre serie per cui Milo Ventimiglia è conosciuto è American Dreams dove interpreta un ragazzo che fugge dall'esercito per evitare il combattimento in Vietnam.
Altri contributi importanti sono stati in un altro telefilm: The Bredford diaries.
Riguardo a film ha partecipato a: Cursed - Il maleficio (di Wes Crafen), Stay Alive e Rocky Balboa dove interpreta il figlio del protagonista.
