Ashley McCall Scott nasce il 13 Luglio del 1977 a Mateirie, Lousiana, per poi trasferirsi e crescere a Charleston, South Carolina.
Fin da piccola ha iniziato a lavorare come modella nel suo paese per poi trasferirsi a New York e lavorare per grandi marche e girando tra Parigi, Londra e Miami.
Una volta riconosciuta come modella si è dedicata alla recitazione. Per la sua prima audizione si è proposta per S1mOne, ma una volta scartata non si è persa d'animo.
Infatti grazie al provino precedentemente fatto è stata presa da Spielberg per una parte in AI - Intelligenza Artificiale nel ruolo di Gigolo Jane.
Nel 2002 ha ottenuto invece un ruolo in una serie TV della Warner Bros: "Birds of prey" in cui interpreta Helena Kyle, la figlia di Batman e Catwoman.
Ha recitato al fianco di Jessica Alba in "Dark Angel" e in "Trappola in Fondo al Mare".
