Justin Chambers nasce a Springfield, nell'Ohio. La sua carriera è iniziata nella metropolitana di Parigi quando è stato notato e proposta l'idea di diventare modello.
E' da qui che ha inizio la sua carriera viaggiando un po' in tutto il mondo e sfilando per grandi firme quali sono Armani e Calvin Klein.
In seguito al trasferimento a New York ha deciso di intraprendere la strada della recitazione studiando per alcuni anni presso alcuni Studios americani.
I suoi debutti sono avvenuti tramite alcuni telefilm e il vero trampolino di lancio verso il successo è stato grazie al film  Liberty Heights dimostrando di essere un bravo atrtore e meritarsi parti di più spessore.
Da quel film in poi ha avuto ruoli importanti come in “Gli occhi della vita” e “Prima o poi mi sposo”.
