 Adam Brody nasce l'8 Aprile del 1981 a San Diego, in California, dove passa anche la propria adolescenza dividendosi fra amici, sole e surf.
In seguito al diploma alla Scripps Ranch High School, chiede ai suoi il permesso di trasferirsi a Los Angeles per continuare gli studi al college.
Invece di iscriversi paga un insegnante personale di recitazione per poi firmare un contratto con un manager, ma non prima di svolgere alcuni lavori come il commesso al BlockBuster.
Dopo diversi mesi riesce a guadagnarsi una parte per la NBC in “Growing Up Brady” nel ruolo di Barry Williams.
In seguito a questa parte, Adam riceve alcuni invita da parte di MTV che gli propone di partecipare a “Now What?” (2002) e in "Undressed" (1999), che il ragazzo accetta volentieri.
Seth ha partecipato anche a molti telefilm oltre a The OC ha infatti interpretato ruoli in "Gilmore Girls" (una Mamma per Amica), "Smallville", "Family Law" e "Judging Amy".
In quanto a film anche questa lista non è scarsa di argomenti. Seth ha infatti partecipato a "The Ring", "American Pie 2" e "Grind".
