Jorge Garcia nasce il 28 aprile del 1973 a Omaha, in Nebraska.
Fin da piccolo ha coltivato la passione e sogno della recitazione. Questa passione è anche accresciuta durante una recita scolastica che gli ha fatto guadagnare un ovazione da buona parte del pubblico.
Da quel momento in poi capì che l'unico suo desiderio era quello di diventare un attore affermato.
Alla fine del college si reca alla Beverly Hills Playhouse, la quale segna l'inizio della sua carriera come attore, passando prima per il teatro.
Comincia con alcune rappresentazione come in "Romancing Valentino", "Hurlyburly", "Fiddler on the Roof", “The Midnight Zone", "Guys and Dolls" e "Something Borrowed Something Blue".
La sua vera passione rimangono però le commendie e la musica, nata e coltivata quando lavorava in un negozio di dischi.
Attualemente lo si può vedere recitare nel telefilm Lost nei panni del simpatico e gentile Hurley.
