Hunter Parrish nasce il 13 maggio 1987 a Richmond, in Virginia. Dopo vari passaggi in vari telefilm, è grazie a "Weeds" che Hunter inizia a farsi conoscere. Grazie al ruolo di Silas Botwin, Hunter impara tantissimo e si regala un tour con Robin Williams nella commedia "Camping-Car" prima di riprendere il suo personaggio nella seconda serie di "Weeds".
Hunter è buon amico dell'attore Richard Hoggard.
